Ghana has always attracted a large crowd of tourists, due to the unbelievably beautiful national parks and nature reserves, but now, Ghana attracts visitors for golf, too!
One of the best rated clubs in all of Ghana is the Achimota Golf Club, located only six miles north of Accra. The club was built on the grounds of what was then called the Prince of Wales College. Unlike most courses, this course starts and ends with a par three hole. There are also back-to-back par five holes, twice, throughout your round.
The Ghana climate is tropical and hot. The temperatures vary between 80 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit all year long. If you want to try to avoid the rain, avoid Ghana during May and June.

Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
